Recent Timeline
-7000:
- Exiled high elves land in Lordaeron.
19:
- Cian dies following a short illness, forcing Lucian to take the title of Lord Suncrown.
- Velurian and Cyndesta wed.
20:
- Suncrown is devastated by the siege on the Sunwell and is abandoned with the rest of the Blackened Woods.
- Luthias becomes Lord Suncrown when Lucian falls in battle.
- Luthias and Velurian both join the ranks of the Blood Knights.
- By the end of the year, Luthias is less himself. He is uncomfortable with his position as Lord Suncrown and has great difficulty interacting with members of other noble houses.
24:
- Those who are closest to Luthias have heard him utter paranoid ramblings. They have also heard him talking to himself and referring to the dead as though they were still living. These are only periodic episodes.

- For the past year, Luthias’ bouts have become more frequent and more intense. It is generally well known among Suncrown that there is something wrong with him.

Suncrown during the time of Arthas' Seige
During Arthas’ siege of Quel’Thalas, house Suncrown fought valiantly to defend the southern territory in their homeland of the Blackened Forest, which is now known as the Ghostlands. Despite their efforts, the onslaught of Arthas’ army made it clear to the defenders that their defeat was imminent. Lucian ordered Luthias to fall back with the remaining members of Suncrown to avoid route that would soon follow Arthas’ victory and in the ensuing chaos, Luthias rescued the survivors of his family.
In the following months, Luthias volunteered to become a Blood Knight by siphoning the powers of the captured Naaru. It is not clear if it was the necromantic magic used by Arthas’ army, the guilt he suffered at abandoning the sunwell, his grief at losing his beloved wife and so many others, or the siphoning of the Naaru’s power that drove Luthias mad. Regardless of the cause, he soon became more of a figurehead than patriarch of Suncrown.
In the months that followed, Luthias’ madness forced Velurian to take control of his grief stricken family by virtue of being the next male in line of succession. Though young, his position as a member of the Blood Knights has afforded him connections to help his family thrive during the rebuilding of Quel’Thalas.
