Physical Description
Vulpe’s often calm expression, coupled with his almost emotionless reactions to most things causes his fellow Blood Elves to wonder what happened to him. His skin tone somewhat lighter than that of your normal Blood Elf due to the lack of light in the past years. His once amazing, long black hair now the color so many of his race call their own. The usual posture of this Blood Elf is one that shows he is strong and proud to be of his race, yet looking into his eyes one can see a level of fear no one should ever experience.
Known Personality
Vulpe is often very quiet, normally only speaking when he is spoken to. Sometime’s he can be found staring off into the distance, possibly coming up with a strategy to put the nail in the coffin of the Scourge, or maybe thinking of his lost loved ones...In the heat of combat he tends to keep his head together, often thinking on his feet as he fights off his foe, always calm, even when it looks as if he’ll be struck down.
Character History
Vulpe was born into the family Nebel, which comprised of himself, his older brother Aldo, his mother Vistine, and his father Dencente. The family was originally from the area around where the Eastern Plaguelands are, they moved to Suncrown before Vulpe was born. His mother was a powerful Shadow Priestess, whom helped the Suncrown family with issues from time to time, also discussing Vulpe’s place in society with the head of the family, Velurian(I hope I'm correct here). His father was a Holy Priest, teaching the younger members of the town to use the light to help others. Because of his mother and father’s abilities, Vulpe often found himself trying to be won over by either of the two, as his brother Aldo had chosen to become a Ranger early in his life and neither a Holy or Shadow Priest.
During the invasion of the Scourge, his parents had Aldo take Vulpe as far away as possible. The last memory he has of his parents is that of both of them telling Vulpe and his brother that they loved them very much, and hoped they would become powerful men, with that his mother went into her Shadow form, followed by his father the two rushed right into the middle of an army of undead, sending bones, limbs, and an eyeball or two flying into the air. As Aldo and Vulpe left Suncrown and got to the edge of their home, Aldo knocked his younger brother out with one of his many Ranger abilities, taking the younger Blood Elf to one of Aldo’s many hiding places when him and his friends would play games. He left a note in the ground beside his brother, made sure the area was next to impossible to get to, then left.
When Vulpe regained conciousness, quite a few hours or possibly a day later, he read the note left by his brother and learned that he went back to their village to attempt saving as many people as possible. Thinking he could maybe help, or find his family, Vulpe ran back to Suncrown only to find nothing but a few bones and a fire or two. After spending a few hours searching every inch of the area, he found his mothers staff and deep marks made from a powerful blade on the side of it. Clutching it to his chest, the young Blood Elf fell to his knees and weeped quietly until his eyes hurt. Knowing that his family was more than likely dead, and possibly among the ranks of the Scourge, he went into hiding.
Five years later Vulpe would come to the city of Silvermoon and find the man Velurian, someone he remembered his mother working with from his town, the current head of Suncrown. Vulpe would then ask Velurian if he could join his family, telling him of how his family was killed during the Scourge invasion, hoping the man would have sympathy and understand his need for a family.
Extra Info
Vulpe is exactly 95 when the Scourge invade, he is 100 when The Burning Crusade occurs, making him quite young for a Blood Knight.
Vulpe cut his hair during his 5 years of hiding, then using basic everyday Arcane magic he learned from a mage in Suncrown, changed his hair color to Red.
One thing that his family found strange, was that Vulpe was exceptionally skilled in using the light in offensive combat, which would explain why 5 years later he would take up the title of Blood Knight.
Vulpe is semi-mute, as he learned of his families death, he partially lost the ability to speak during his 5 years of hiding, possibly caused by the psychological damage dealt to him from knowing he would never see his family again. Slowly but surely he is regaining it.
Vulpe is a cousin of Sylvannas Windrunner, his family originates from the Windrunner village and has members of the family his mother is from married into the Windrunner family. Because of this, Vulpe has a very strong respect for Sylvannas, and as such tolerates the Forsaken she leads.
