Physical Description
Do not let his elegantly short fiery dirty-blond hair fool you, this blood elf’s dimly light emerald eyes and deeply somber visage only starts to exposes his tormented soul.
Known Personality
He is a strange, melancholic, reclusive sort of elf but tends to steps up to the plate when called upon. He also has great disdain against all troll kin.
Character History
After the defeat of the battle at Andilien estate at the hands of Arthas and his scourge, Ulian was tasked by his grandfather to reach Suncrown village and alert them of the impending scourge attack. Taking the western pass around the Sanctum of the Sun and up towards Farstrider enclave, he got ambushed by a local Amani troll tribe who used the Scourge invasion to reoccupy some of their lost lands. Already fatigued and wounded form the previous battle Ulian could not put up much of a fight and was forcefully dragged deep into the mountains range bordering Elrendar’Nel. And there he remained captive for very long years.
Presumed dead until one day, Eyfura Andilien learned of a captured elf through a troll she cornered in the wood as it was begging for its life. She immediately brought this to the surviving patriarch of the Andilien house, Aigun. Hearing of this, Lunith tried yet again to convince Aigun that their younger brother was still alive. After all the dreams she been having for the past years, she was convinced of that fact. But it was out of respect to their house past reputation as Blood Elf guardians that Aigun felt a duty to rescue this elf.
Against the Suncrown House wishes, Aigun started his journey but was stopped short by the Andilien members of the family. Lunith did not want to hear any reasoning. She was determined to come as did Eyfura and Cassis. Aigun had no choice but to have them come along. And so the Andilien family forged through the wilderness of the Elrendar’Nel mountain range with what little information the troll had provided Eyfura. They were not prepared for what they would find as they stumbled upon a week old tribal camp site. Aigun picked up a small silver pendant at the corner of the camp site and soon realized that he was holding a pendant of his family crest. Could it be? Ulian is alive!
Showing his find to the rest of the family only fortified their resolution to rescue there family member. It was a matter of days before they caught up to the tribe who was descending into the Plaguelands. With quick crafty work they decimated the tribe and found Ulian bound, blind folded and gagged to a tree dressed only a loin cloth and in very poor physical and mental health.
Even after years of rehabilitation, Ulian still finds himself in a depressed state and a shell of his former self because of torture and ridicule at the expense of the Amani Troll tribe’s personal amusement. But with the support of his immediate family he has regain some composure and now finds solace in his quest to become a blood knight.
