Physical Description
Evalani is smaller than most in height and petite in stature. She is still very young and her features clearly show her youth. Her hair is raven black, cut into a short and shiny bob. Her wide eyes a brilliant and shimmering emerald green.

Snobbish, snooty, a serious superiority complex.
Character History
Evalani was a surprise to both of her parents. Lurian and Unalla and long since believed their child-bearing days were past. After raising three boys to adulthood, the were ready to settle. They had never completely agreed on proper upbringing. They were looking forward to the absence of constant disagreements over how their children should be raised. However, to their surprise, several years after all three boys were grown they were shocked with the coming expectance of another child. Evalani was born to elderly parents and siblings with whom she would never find companionship. A small, miserable child, she rarely smiled and often cried. Her father gave her little attention. He was busy with matters of the family, business that could simply not be put off. Her mother made up for Lurian’s fatherly shortcomings by showering the girl with love and affection. Her only daughter was treated like a princess, given everything she could ever desire and practically raised in her mother’s arms. Evalani grew to adolescence as a spoiled, self-centered and constantly indulged girl.
The only time her father ever gave her a glance was in the church. Like her brothers, he was adamant that she be raised with a clear understanding of it. He soon lost interest in that aspect of her life as well. Like Vierton, Evalani could never enjoy the sermons or preachings. By the time she was a young adult it was clear that she would never find her place in a church. Her father still forced her to regularly attend until her mother intervened. By then, Lurian had given up any small amount of hope he’d had and no longer made any decisions regarding the girl. From then on, Evalani spent her time outdoors playing or inside being constantly coddled by her mother.
Evalani soon grew to be a troublemaker for her family. She snuck out nights and disappeared for days with her childhood friend, Venthel. Her brothers laughed about it, they were much too old to be playmates but they made it a point to spend time with their sister when they weren’t busy with their father. Her father soon became infuriated by her actions. Her behavior was unacceptable to him. Her mother smiled and clucked but could never find it in herself to punish the girl.
On the day Evalani discovered her power over fire and shadows, her father denounced her name. He was mortified that one of his own could be a warlock. It was bad enough to him that Valinmar had found his calling as a mage, and that his son had taken a warlock for a wife. But then, he never could understand this child, with her dark hair and scheming eyes. His wife was able to console him enough to accept his only daughter’s fate, but he would never understand it.
Evalani is very sheltered. She doesn't speak to people she doesn't like, so she doesn't really get to know many people. She's young and self-centered so she basically puts most people out of her mind and doesn't consider them. She may be snobby, and a little evil, but she's still too young to be exactly dangerous. I hope people understand what I'm trying to get at here... She's really more of an annoyance than a threat. But she has potential to become more. She is loyal to her family name, but not for the same reasons as Faldanis or some of the older members. She simply doesn't understand the concept of honor, she just wants her family to be prosperous and infamous because that is most beneficial to her.
