Physical Description
Blodwen's inborn noble grace and beauty have been both accentuated and marred by her choice of lifestyle. She is accustomed to being dirty - going long periods away from civilization - and thusly may appear unkempt, especially when found outside a city. Her grace of movement has only been accentuated over time by her abilities however.
Years of living outside civilization has left her skin scarred and calloused in many places - tanned from days in the sun. While her features are delicate and fair, her hands are calloused and her body bears several scars. She generally dresses in tight leathers - optimal for movement and protection. Her coppery hair is pulled up in a ponytail away from her face. She is seen only rarely dressed as a woman should be.
Known Personality
While she has on occasion demonstrated her ability to behave well around nobility, Blodwen is generally not so formal. She can be crude, loud, rude, and even violent towards those that insult her sense of self pride. She is a rebellious sort - apt to do things because they amuse her more than anything (while she does have other motivations). She becomes fiercely loyal and defensive of those that win her friendship or affections, but is generally fairly reclusive and through that a little hard to get to know. She is known to do almost anything for the gold it rewards, or for free if one is on her good side. She is blunt, and sometimes difficult to approach in casual conversation, but is very open and truthful to those that have won her trust. While she is outwardly full of negative qualities - inwardly she has many strong positive qualities.
Character History
Blodwen was born and bred a member of a high elf noble house that was decimated during the invasion of the scourge. Born as Chrysantha Dawnwatcher, one of a pair of fraternal twins, she went through all typical training and priming of a young noble youth. She however, did not take to the training well - often shirking her lessons for jaunts out in the local wilds. Considered a rebellious, perhaps even evil child, she was reprimanded and treated harshly, rather than accepted for her free spirit. As she reached the age where she might marry - for solidification of house relations, perhaps - the combined pressure of suitors and family expectations motivated her to flee.
She made her home alone in the wilds - constantly moving. Her family, while they did look for her, became occupied with more pressing things - the preparations for defense and war against the incoming scourge forces.
Blodwen's choice to seek her own fortunes resulted in a good many years of loneliness, living as a recluse out in the forests, occasionally associating with the other races. The scourge had long been and gone before word of what had happened to her family and her people ever met her ears. The weight of guilt for not being there to help defend those of her blood is heavy on her - albeit somewhat denied - while she disliked them, she had not wished them that much ill.
Recently she has heard of the recreation of old noble houses and groups of now dubbed blood elves, and so motivated by the need for companionship and perhaps a steady income - plus a good deal of denied guilt, she has sworn loyalty to Suncrown, and offered her services both in the doing of deeds some might deem underhanded, as well as what experience she has with things of a diplomatic air - experienced with the other races, for her time apart from the elves. She has been with the Suncrown family for but a few short years, and very few of their number, if any, are aware of her true heritage.
